This marked the 8th year in a row that Goofy Faces was there to draw attendees and promote our services. For the 2nd straight year, guest artist Glenn Ferguson was there to help draw faces for 3 days. Kids and families enjoyed their caricatures. Even Hardcore Pawn star, Les Gold stopped by to see us at work.

Once again, Goofy Faces was drawing caricatures at the Art & Apples Festival in Rochester, MI. This year, guest-caricature artist, Glenn Ferguson was in town from Orlando, FL to help Robert draw and entertain guests of the festival. Glenn draws caricatures at Universal Studios, Orlando full-time so people got a chance to see some awesome work right here in Michigan. The 3-day affair was a lot of fun, minus the rain on Saturday.

Tigerfest 2010

Robert Bauer - Tuesday, January 26, 2010

Once a year, the Detroit Tigers hold a fan festival at Comerica Park called Tigerfest! Thousands of fans head out to the ball park to collect autographs from players, purchase baseball memorabilia and celebrate baseball in the wintertime. Goofy Faces was there to draw attendees for 5 hours and stayed very busy the entire time. Kids and their parents enjoyed being drawn together or separate and each drawing was titled with the year and name of the event so everyone remembered where they got their caricature!

Goofy Faces at Groveland Oaks County Park

Robert Bauer - Monday, July 20, 2009

Oakland County Parks hired Goofy Faces to draw & entertain campers staying at 2 different parks this summer. This past weekend, Robert was drawing at Groveland Oaks County Park in Holly, MI. To help optimize the amount of guests that could be drawn in 2 hours, Goofy Faces created 2 templates for campers to pick from for their caricatures; swimming or roasting marshmallows. All the campers enjoyed their caricatures and more could be accommodated than usual due to the use of the templates. Think about this idea for your next themed function or event!
