The Rochester Orioles Federation Baseball Team held a fund-raising party with a silent auction at the Rochester Mills Beer Company on Saturday night to help raise money for the team. Robert was on hand to help raise cash for his son's team by drawing caricatures of the parents and guests. Everyone enjoyed the outing and Goofy Faces raised $100 for the team. Go Orioles!

PastaPalooza Fundraiser

Robert Bauer - Tuesday, January 26, 2010

Last Thursday, Berkshire Middle School held their first PastaPalooza fundraiser and Goofy Faces was there to help add some fun and raise money for the school. 3 Goofy Faces Artists were on hand for 2 hours to draw students and parents in exchange for donations. Instead of our normal hourly fee, each artist accepted tips and split them with the school for the fundraiser. Goofy Faces raised over $100 in 2 hours and entertained everyone in attendance. If you have an organization that wants to add some fun and raise money, contact us during our off season and we may be able to help you out as well!

(ACS) Relay for Life Event

Robert Bauer - Monday, June 01, 2009

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature activity. It offers everyone in a community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Relays are an overnight event, up to 24 hours in length.

This year, Jill Mostek from State Farm in Chesterfield Township sponsored an artist from Goofy Faces to draw caricatures of the participants as they ran their laps to help raise money and awareness for the cause. The event was dampened by rain but not the attendees spirits.  Even PAWS from the Detroit Tigers had fun getting his caricature drawn.

Robert Bauer - Wednesday, March 18, 2009
Just a day after St. Patrick's Day, Goofy Faces was on hand at the Royal Park Hotel to celebrate Sham-Rock and Shenanigans, a party sponsored by the Detroit Chapter of NACE.
The affair was a wonderful gathering to help raise funds for Lighthouse of Oakland County
Below are some of the happy people we drew during the event.
