Once again, Goofy Faces was on-hand at Belle Tire's Annual Holiday Party at Burton Manor. 14 artists drew for 3.5 hours while guests enjoyed seeing Santa, playing games and watching the artists draw. Happy Holidays!
It's that time of year for annual holiday parties. Goofy Faces was at it again at the Joe Louis Arena in downtown Detroit drawing caricatures at the Ilitch Holdings annual Christmas Party. Employees of Little Caesars, the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers enjoyed getting their caricatures drawn for 4 hours. This year, there were 11 artists set up in 2 groups. (the 12th artist was sick)
Once again, Goofy Faces was drawing caricatures at the Art & Apples Festival in Rochester, MI. This year, guest-caricature artist, Glenn Ferguson was in town from Orlando, FL to help Robert draw and entertain guests of the festival. Glenn draws caricatures at Universal Studios, Orlando full-time so people got a chance to see some awesome work right here in Michigan. The 3-day affair was a lot of fun, minus the rain on Saturday.
Goofy Faces was on hand to draw caricatures and entertain guests at Kristi and Garry's wedding reception held at Gino's Surf in Harrison Township. Wedding guests lined up to be drawn by one of two caricature artists on hand for 4 hours. The artists drew non-stop all night long.
Goofy Faces was on hand to help celebrate Tyler & Julie's outdoor wedding celebration at Pine Row Farm. The weather was a bit wet but stopped raining when we arrived to draw caricatures for 3 hours.
Artists Bob and Robert spent the afternoon on the 4th of July drawing caricatures of guests at Steve and Yoshiko's wedding reception outdoor party. The location was on a private lake and guests enjoyed swimming, eating and having their caricatures drawn. The couple pictured here are John & Yoko. No kidding.
Recently Goofy Faces was hired to draw a birthday gift cartoon caricature for Cindy who turned 40. In addition to the gift caricature, Phil decided to hire Goofy Faces to come and draw guests live at the party. The party was a smash with the caricature artist working an extra hour in order to draw everyone who wanted their own goofy face!
The Rochester Orioles Federation Baseball Team held a fund-raising party with a silent auction at the Rochester Mills Beer Company on Saturday night to help raise money for the team. Robert was on hand to help raise cash for his son's team by drawing caricatures of the parents and guests. Everyone enjoyed the outing and Goofy Faces raised $100 for the team. Go Orioles!
Members of the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club held an event called the GYPC World Pub Crawl Friday night. Several rooms within the yacht club were themed after different countries. They hired Goofy Faces to draw caricatures in their French room for 3 hours...which turned into 4 hours after they were so well received.
