This year I was offered an amazing opportunity to speak at the TTI/Vanguard: NextGens Technologies Conference in Miami, Florida at the Marriott Marquis Hotel. TTI/Vanguard is a unique forum for senior-level executives that links strategic technology planning to business success. Their conferences are about discovering technological possibilities for the 21st century. Five times annually, corporate and government leaders, entrepreneurs, researchers, and academicians come together to envision the future's future technologically. In highly interactive sessions, led by a world-class Advisory Board—John Perry Barlow, Maria Bezaitis, Gordon Bell, Peter Cochrane, Deborah Estrin, Eric Haseltine, Michael Hawley, Alan Kay, Leonard Kleinrock, Douglas Lenat, Robert Lucky, Nicholas Negroponte, and David Reed—and today's most influential thought leaders, debate is stimulated, and breakthrough ideas flourish.

Being around such innovative individuals was intimidating, to say the least. Having to give a presentation on the art of caricature to a group like this was even more nerve-racking. However, the presentation went off without a hitch and many attendees complimented me on my performance. In addition to speaking and networking, I also drew at one of their events on the last evening of the conference. Guests lined up to be drawn by one of the speakers which was a unique opportunity for them as well as myself!

Once again, Ben B. Schwartz & Sons hired Goofy Faces to drew guests at the annual Spartan Foods Trade Show at the DeVos Place in Grand Rapids, MI. 3 artists brought smiles to attendees for 5 hours during the show. Their booth was the busiest during the entire show.

Recently Jack Morton Worldwide hired Goofy Faces to provide caricature artists to help Chevrolet celebrate its 100th birthday at the GM Heritage Center in Sterling Heights. 3 artists drew guests of the event for 4 hours using 4 different pre-printed templates of some of Chevy's favorite car's. Guests got to choose which car they wished to be drawn in and the artists did the rest.

VPI, Inc. hired Goofy Faces to draw caricatures at their trade show booth at the OIAA Trade Show at Caesar's Palace in Windsor, Ontario. To go with the Roman theme of the event, 2 templates were designed to use for the guests, one for male and one for female.

Once again Goofy Faces was on-hand at the National Automatic Merchandising Association's annual trade show held at McCormick Place in downtown Chicago drawing m&m caricatures for Mars Chocolate, North America. For 2 consecutive days, both artists kept busy drawing m&m caricatures of attendees from all over the world. Goofy Faces even got a chance to have some fun while  Messin' with Sasquatch!

Once again, customers enjoyed having their caricatures drawn at another Chase Bank Grand Opening. This time the new location was 39540 Woodward Avenue in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Each year, Lentine Mortgage orders a custom color caricature to use as their holiday invite to their company Christmas Party. They have ordered an annual holiday caricature for the past 6 years now and each year they request a unique Christmas theme. This year's request was the Nutcracker Suite. Goofy Faces caricatures are very popular during the holidays. Many people order their own family caricature from our website to use as their Christmas card. Thursday morning, guests of the Hyatt Place's Open House Celebration enjoyed being drawn by Goofy Faces during their visit. Several attendees enjoyed a delicious catered lunch and tours of the rooms before returning to their jobs and businesses. Their co-workers must have been jealous once they saw their caricatures from our caricature artist!
