It's wedding season once again and that means plenty of smiling faces for us to draw at receptions across the country. We have seen a significant increase in the amount of bookings for wedding receptions in the past 3 years. Brides are always looking for something original and personal for entertainment at their receptions and caricature artists offer both! Recently Goofy Faces was hired to provide caricatures as entertainment at a Pakistani-style Wedding Reception at The Henry in Dearborn, MI. The costumes were very colorful and elaborate and guests enjoyed traditional music along with the latest wedding attraction; wedding caricatures. All the guests waited in line to have their caricatures drawn and both artists kept busy for 3 straight hours..

Whimsical Occasions held another bridal show at The Inn at St. John's recently and once again, Goofy Faces was on hand to offer free caricatures to attendees as well as future brides. One of the newer venues at which Goofy Faces has been offering its services is for wedding receptions. Guests enjoy watching the artists draw their friends and family and several people get to take home a great keepsake at the end of the evening. The idea is getting more and more popular. Since June, Goofy Faces has entertained at over a dozen weddings with many already booked for 2012. If you are planning your wedding soon, don't forget to contact us. And the trend continues! We have been doing more and more weddings than any other occasion this summer! This time, Goofy Faces had 2 artists drawing at a wedding reception in Ann Arbor at the Michigan Union Ballroom. The artist were such a hit that the groom asked them both to stay longer than originally planned to make sure everyone who wanted one got their caricature drawn!

It seems that we have been hired to draw at a lot more wedding receptions this year than at any time in the past. It's not that surprising when you think about how fun it is to have an artist or two at the reception drawing friends and family all night. Everyone enjoys watching the artists draw them while many of the guests have a memorable keepsake from the occasion. Unlike many other entertainment novelties, our artists are experienced entertainers in addition to being fantastic artists. So it's a win-win for everyone involved!

Goofy Faces was on hand to draw caricatures and entertain guests at Kristi and Garry's wedding reception held at
Gino's Surf in Harrison Township. Wedding guests lined up to be drawn by one of two
caricature artists on hand for 4 hours. The artists drew non-stop all night long.

Goofy Faces was on hand to help celebrate Tyler & Julie's outdoor wedding celebration at Pine Row Farm. The weather was a bit wet but stopped raining when we arrived to draw
caricatures for 3 hours.

Artists Bob and Robert spent the afternoon on the 4th of July drawing
caricatures of guests at Steve and Yoshiko's wedding reception outdoor party. The location was on a private lake and guests enjoyed swimming, eating and having their caricatures drawn. The couple pictured here are John & Yoko. No kidding.
