Guests of the Motor City Casino celebrated the arrival of 2011 in style at a V.I.P. event hosted by the casino and Goofy Faces was there to entertain them with the last caricatures of 2010. Couples enjoyed both artists for over 3 hours before the final countdown. Happy New Year everyone!
The Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau hosted a holiday gathering for its members at The Somerset Collection in Troy. Members enjoyed appetizers, gift bags from the mall and free caricatures from fellow member, Robert Bauer who has been a DMCVB member for over 4 years.
Goofy Faces was invited to draw caricatures at the UEP Holiday Party at Weber's Inn in Ann Arbor, MI. Guests enjoyed being drawn during the holiday party for over 2 hours. Once again, customers enjoyed having their caricatures drawn at another Chase Bank Grand Opening. This time the new location was 39540 Woodward Avenue in Bloomfield Hills, MI. It's that time of year for annual holiday parties. Goofy Faces was at it again at the Joe Louis Arena in downtown Detroit drawing caricatures at the Ilitch Holdings annual Christmas Party. Employees of Little Caesars, the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers enjoyed getting their caricatures drawn for 4 hours. This year, there were 11 artists set up in 2 groups. (the 12th artist was sick)
Once again, Goofy Faces was drawing caricatures at the Art & Apples Festival in Rochester, MI. This year, guest-caricature artist, Glenn Ferguson was in town from Orlando, FL to help Robert draw and entertain guests of the festival. Glenn draws caricatures at Universal Studios, Orlando full-time so people got a chance to see some awesome work right here in Michigan. The 3-day affair was a lot of fun, minus the rain on Saturday.
Oakland County Parks & Recreation held its first ever kite-flying event called Kites Over Catalpa last weekend at Catalpa Oaks County Park in Southfield, MI. Kids and families had the opportunity to watch free kite-flying demos as well as make their own kites. Goofy Faces was there drawing attendees as well. Guests enjoyed having a caricature of their kids or themselves flying a kite!
Without a doubt, June is our busiest month at Goofy faces. Between wedding receptions, all-night high school parties and company picnics we average 3 to 5 events booked every weekend. The most popular events we do in June are graduation parties. Our caricature artists are a huge hit at high school grad parties whether they are held in a backyard or inside a banquet hall. Guests love watching the artist in action as much as they enjoy getting their own caricature drawn.

Or visit our single locations for caricatures or face painting at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, Louisville Zoo or Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa. Need a break from the sun? Then why not get your caricature from our single location inside the Florida Aquarium in Tampa. We also have caricature artists drawing outside the Trading Post at the Philadelphia Zoo.
